Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda

Hi, I am Oona, and I am the Skipper of the boat today. Most of us got up by 6:30 this morning and saw the reminisce of a beautiful sunrise. Mason was the chef, and Adrienne was the sous chef today. They made eggs and a delicious blueberry muffin cake for breakfast. Tony played some Zach Bryan as we cleaned up breakfast. We got ready for the day and then got in our three teams of 4 to learn more about sailing. My group, consisting of Caitlin, Gigi, Orion, and I, was in charge of raising the sail and making sure it didn’t get caught in the lazy jacks. Brielle, Cassia, and Mario were hoisting the halyard down to get the sail up. The last group
Including Maxwell, Masson, Natalia, and Lexi were changing the main sheets to control the orientation of the sails. Cassia navigated the boat for the majority of our 4-hour sail to Mountain Point. Some of us got a little seasick, including me, but I took a nap, and luckily, when I woke up, I felt a lot better. A bunch of us sat on the front of the boat, and I let the waves splashing up cool us off. We had sandwiches for lunch and shortly after reached our destination. We watched another dive video and took a short test before we all got in the water and cleaned off. For dinner, we had some delicious Alfredo pasta and hot dogs. We cleaned up dinner and then had a competition in which the three teams competed against each other to see who remembered the most sailing terminology. I am happy to report that my team won. Now, we are getting ready for bed and hanging out. I love you so much, Mom and Dad; I miss you guys, but I am so happy to be here, thank you.
