Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda
Day 3!! Today was definitely the best day so far. We became so much closer as a boat and had so much fun. We started the day with an early morning (6 am) boat move to The Baths. We took a dinghy there, and then we all got dropped off and swam to shore. We started the journey to the rock that we were planning to jump off of. Stich reminded us that the queen Beyoncé took her maternity pictures at a cave there, so we, of course, had to take some of our own. Georgia did a back flip off the rock and landed, and Maude jumped three times. Issy, Stella, Avery, Lana, and other girls saw a sting ray, and they said that it was so cool. And Harry “saw caves, and it was cool”. Once we left The Baths, we did a quick ocean shower and then finished with a Hibiclens rinse.
We all got ready for lunch and started on our way to Spanish Town. Kate was the skipper today and drove the boat most of the way to lunch. Once we got to Spanish Town, all of us went out to lunch together, and the food was AMAZING!! Lucas and Ned left lunch for a second to get snacks. After lunch, we went to get extra snacks for the boat and ice cream!!! When we got back on, we all sat in the back of the boat and just talked and got super close. We also have a joke going on the boat between the Americans and Brits, so we have been poking at each other all day. For example, Avery introduced Issy to fried pickles at lunch, and she didn’t know what to do and everyone was dying laughing. Lauren, Ned, and Georgia, our amazing DM’s, learned how to drive the dinghy today, and apparently, Georgia ran over a chicklet. We ended the night with an amazing dinner and a beautiful sunset. WE LOVE THE BVIS AND AQ!!!!!
