Location: Marina Cay
Today’s adventure started early this morning, with a quick cereal breakfast and then immediately motoring to Great Dog Island where we did our second open water dive. My dive buddy Kaylee and I explored an incredible coral tunnel together. We saw many wonderful creatures, ranging from trumpet fish to baby nurse sharks. After the dive the Salsa crew got back to the boat and traveled to George Dog Island, where we spent about an hour of free time swimming and taking in the beautiful views of the BVI. Ben did backflips off the boat while Mia, Emma, and Sophie split off into a group that went to take stunning pictures and swim some more. Max lent us his scuba goggles so we could all see the elaborate coral reef that was below us. Later, post ramen lunch, Jessie took the helm and docked us in Marina Cay to get water and then anchor. In the afternoon we were all ushered into the galley for a sail chat, except for Ginger, who is ahead of the rest and taking advanced sailing courses so she could not be there with us at this time. Lastly we were treated to the most delicious dinner created by our lovely chefs McKenna and Dylan. This meal was the perfect end to a perfect day.
