Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda
Today, we started our morning with a magnificent bowl of oatmeal. Then we took a dinghy to the beach, where we started a group sand competition and went against a different boat. We first buried Cameron and made him a mermaid; then, we made a sand castle empire. Next, Amy, Chase, and I (Eli) made our way over to a different dinghy to go wake and kneeboarding. We then went back to our sailboat and took a different boat to snorkel at Mangrove Cove. While snorkeling, Vaughn saw a turtle, and Emily saw a jellyfish that had a one-foot diameter. Then we had troubles on our boat ride back but eventually made it when we got towed, and then Amy and Ellory made grilled cheeses. We had a quick talk about the coral reefs and hung out on the boat, where Finn brought out his Uno Dare deck. Then, we set off to sail to Mountain Point. Ellory and Jada put out the main sail and jib. We then took our saltwater showers, and Cameron and Magnus scrubbed themselves clean. Amy and Emily prepared dinner which was risotto, salad, chicken, and corn. Sloane and others then did our dishy pit, and Breckyn did a quick clean of our boat. Later tonight, we have a sailing lesson, and then we will hit the hay.
