Another entertaining rotation day on Shamwari. Our day started waking up to the Sponge Bob Musical theme song, but unfortunately, it woke us up thirty minutes too late. Despite this, we got to work on making breakfast and our daily jobs. Today was a rotation day, so we had a lot of activities planned, including water sports, hiking, sailing, and scuba. Our first rotation was hiking. We start the hike on large rocks and slowly progress to a higher climate, everybody was fast and was excited to get to the top. Especially Joshua, who shared his love for half marathons and other running sports he does. While everybody took their time, we were eventually stopped because of our late start and started the beginning of a new rotation. Second, we had water sports, where I went on the boat with Josie, Thompson, Joshua, and Grayson. We all had a great time going, and Thompson showed off his slalom ski moves while the rest of us watched. After a couple of wipeouts, we decided it was time to go back to Shamwari and regroup with the rest of the boat. With it finally being midway through the day, we were greeted with an interesting soup that was at the least a blast to the taste buds, but despite lunch, we were all looking forward to being one step closer to scuba certification, which is where our next journey begins. In this scuba lesson, we had a couple of new skills to learn while underwater, including filling our mask fully with water and then filling it back with air.

All around, the dive was great, and we enjoyed being in our groups. After a tiring deep dive, we head to our final rotation, sailing. Most were too tired from the dive, but Ollie was up to the challenge, so he sailed for the rotation. Grayson, Josie, and I sat and talked. With no time to waste, we began preparing for the BBQ with the other boats. Lucy, LuLu, Ella W, and Ella S hung out together during the BBQ while the others socialized with the other boats, especially Meredith. Finally, we left the BBQ around 7:45 and went back to Shamwari for more late-night talks and to sleep.
