Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda
This morning, we had to wake up super early because we were sailing at 6:30 am. The night before, we all were having a fun time outside on the deck of the boat, but eventually, it started to rain, so we had to grab all of our stuff and run inside. The rest of the night, there was no rain. When everyone was awake, we started to sail. When we were finally anchored, we all came down to the table and at breakfast. Max and Sam put out yogurt and bagels for everyone to eat. After everyone was finished eating, we started sailing off for the baths. The baths are a place where the locals say that aliens used to take baths. While we were there, everyone was doing crazy jumps. Jorge, Loren, Sam, and Dylan did super cool backflips, and then Max did one with Annika. Sofie did some pretty amazing front flips, Sam and Malika were filming their high jumps as well as everyone else’s, Reece and Bea did a super cool timed jump, Evan did the coolest cannonball off of the top rock, and Maxime did a cool spinning jump. After the baths we came back to the boats and took Hibicleans showers, this was to make sure that we got all the bacteria off and to make sure we were super clean. We set sail for Spanish town around an hour later. Spanish town was one of the highlights of everyone’s trip.
When we were there, we got a super yummy lunch, and we went into a few cool stores like Mr Nice Guys. They had the PJs that Annika and Will were matching in and did a fashion show. It was super fun in that store because Sam, Max, Jorge, and Dylan got do-rags, and they looked very funny with them on. When we got back to the boat we were all chilling in the wind while Sam and Max cooked us some dinner. For dinner, we had chili, rice, and crackers. Everyone really enjoyed it. After everyone ate their dinner, Maxime, Dylan, Sofie, and Bea helped clean and put away all the dishes. From there, everyone went to the top of the boat and talked until it was finally ready to go to bed.
