Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda
We woke up at about 6, and we went to the Baths. It was GORGEOUS. We went through all the rocks to the cliff diving spot, and it was sooo pretty! When we jumped down, the water was bright turquoise, and there were these shallow pools with tons of tiny fish and crabs in them. Zac and Tony did double backflips that looked pretty cool and were nearly perfect. Mountain killed it, too, at the cliff jump and was a pro at navigating the rocks. Sophia nailed the back dive. After that, we hung out at Devil’s Beach, it had the whitest sand!! Once it was time to go back to the boat, we sailed over to Spanish town and finally got cold water! The lunch was soooo good, and everyone in the town was super friendly and nice. We got ice cream which was the best I’ve had in a while, and picked up a few things we’d forgotten to pack.
Then we went and got tons of candy from the store, and Sivanne found a gummy hamburger! After getting back to Friendship, we sailed to Mountain Point and had our scuba talks, but we were so quick at getting everything done that we had time to relax after those. Thing 2 (one of the Ava’s) and I judged everyone’s diving skills. We had pasta for dinner and dawgs. Sierra perfected her 360 dive, and Tony taught Liam, Gabriel, and Millie to do backflips! We also went on a sunset boat ride, and Garrett was a really good driver. Once we stopped, as the skipper, I did today’s appreciation and question of the day. Then we jumped in, and Daisy and Thing One (Ava) did a backroll off the boat, which turned into more of a back flop. Lochlan also perfected his back dive before we headed in for the night.
