Location: Marina Cay

On day 11 of our ActionQuest journey, we awoke to the smell of a salty breeze encompassing our boat. Due to Caleb’s “mandatory” request for banana pancakes, the chefs Alexis and Zack started the day off right. After breakfast, we sailed underway for two hours to arrive at our destination, Moorings Base. We spent an hour shopping. Then we headed over to the Moorings Yacht Club, where we ordered burgers, quesadillas, wings, and mahi mahi. After Scarlett waited 2 hours for her food, it finally arrived, and the wait was worth it. After our delicious lunch, we made it back to the boat and headed underway to Blue Chromis Reef. Caleb, Brian, Jack, and Tyler (Australian) all finished their makeup dives while the rest of us got the chance to lead a dive by ourselves. My group (Moorea, Alexis, Tyler (American), and Scarlett) all had fun doing backflips underwater, taking pictures, and admiring many trunkfish. The other group (Dylan, Alli, Zack, and Brian) had fun blowing underwater bubble rings and spotted a Spotted Moray Eel. Once the dive was over, we packed up our gear and headed underway again. We sailed for 2 hours and arrived at our final destination, Marina Cay. We later took ocean showers while watching the prettiest sunset, pink and orange rays reflecting off the surface of the water. The chefs then cooked the third meal of the day, Tortellini with red sauce. After eating our dinner, we ended the day with our highs and lows and the question of the day; “If you were on a dive and you could see any sea animal, what animal would you choose?”. We made so many fun memories today, and we can’t wait to make more.
