Location: Great Harbor, Peter Island
Today on Frenchie, we arrived back at the BVI’s at around 10 am after a very long and tiring trip from St. Barths. My group (Dasha, Z, and Claire) and I (Dasha, Z, and Claire) were the last watch group of our sail, and we got to help Matty P and Sela anchor at Spanish Town. Once anchored, we all deep cleaned the boat after the long sail, and everything (surprisingly) ended up being very clean. After, most of us felt dirty, so we took an ocean shower and snorkled. Our group had already gone to Spanish town towards the beginning of our voyage, but we stopped by to grab lunch and snacks, such as Nutella, which Carson had bought for the boat. After we returned to the boat, we once again put up the sail and headed off to Peter Island to meet up with the rest of the Action Quest boats. On the way here, we were supposed to do man overboard (MOB) drills, but luckily, Matt forgot about the drills, so we all played cards, which entertained us for the full hour and a half sail. Once arrived, we anchored and waved to other boats, and some complained about wanting to see their friends. After, we once again swam, snorkeled, and showered. We all dried off, got into our PJs, and had Mike, the director of AQ, over for dinner, which was Mexican. We played a game of squeeze, in which the question was, “If you were an animal, which animal would you be and why?”. I said a panda because they eat and sleep a lot. After dinner, we cleaned up. Once clean, we had a sail chat about the VHF (the radio system), and everyone was pretty tired, and most went to bed. The camera’s memory card is unfortunately full, so we were only able to take one photo. We only have three days left. See you soon, parents!
