Location: The Bight, Norman Island
Today, we woke up excited and stressed about our final project presentations. After a quick breakfast of cereal, Antonio, Ari, and Tyler presented their project first. They were followed by Josie, Emi, Mahe, and Juju, and finally Sonja, Juno, Kylie, Ellie, and me presented. Everyone did really, really well, and we were all extremely passionate about our projects! After our presentations, we enjoyed a moon dive! Everyone took extra weights on a dive above a sandy alcove and then took off their fins to bounce around on the bottom. Ellie, Kylie, and I found a giant hermit crab while Antonio, Juno, Sonja, and Ari looked for some missing fins. Next, we headed to Road Town for some shore time. We had fun exploring, eating crapes, and calling all of you! Josie, Mahe, Juju, Emi, and Tyler got some fun shore snacks at the local grocery store. Finally, we headed back to the boat and traveled to the anchorage where we would spend the night. After a quick shower and dinner, we cleaned up and played the much-anticipated game of guessing the age of our staff members! Some of us were close, but most of us were off by at least a few years. Finally, we ended the night by writing sentimental cards to our fellow shippies to be read at the very end of the trip, and then headed to bed.
