Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda

After a much better sleep than the night before, we woke up on our own schedule (no roosters!) and had some great scrambled eggs for breakfast. We went to leave our mooring ball, and after a little trouble with the mainsail, we were off! I was able to be at the helm, and so were Roman, Peter, Leonie, Sadie, and a few others. We got to see some crazy-looking houses on some crazy-looking islands as we sailed through, but the main event was the rain, which made sailing way more fun, although Campbell’s hat did bite the dust to the wind around this time. But eventually, the rain passed, and we moored for lunch at a great scenic spot and got to socialize with another boat (Odyssey). The rocks on this island were absolutely amazing. I think we all got to meet some new friends, and Andrew, Roman, Pete, and I had a good time talking to the other boys on Odyssey. After we left lunch, Julia, Emilia, Carly, Elsa, and Zoe all fell asleep and got to wake up to some more great views, although they did miss some awesome music. We had another dive chat today, this time about our equipment, and it was great. Definitely looking forward to diving. After that, we had some great pasta for dinner, and so concluded our day. Can’t wait for the next one!
