Location: Great Harbor, Peter Island

Today I woke up a little different, being told by Evan, our dive instructor, telling me “Miguel you are the skipper we need you to wake everybody else” then after a few seconds I realized that I wasn’t in my normal bed (the floor). I realized that after several nights looking, I found THE BEST BED EVER. I was in the boom of the boat; I was laying down in the mainsail of the boat inside the sail bag. The only bad thing is that everybody wants to give it a try, so we have to share it. After repeating “come on guys it’s breakfast time” like 15 times, every boy was in the deck ready to eat something special, something that we have had like four or five times yet CEREAL!! Then we made our last dive, and we saw a ship underwater that was AWESOME!! and we saw a SHARK!! So so cool. The fun of the day kept going because we went hiking to the top of a little mountain and the view was beautiful! Then we had a very good lunch and chill out for twenty minutes and prepared for our theoretical sail test that I have to say was a little bit easy because our skipper Jason prepared us very well. Then we went sailing because some people wanted to retake the practical exam, but it was good because I chilled out the whole trip. We sailed to Peter Island where we had. I think our best dinner ever!! And the usual things like clean the deck, showers, etc. Then we had a… party on the boat. Everybody was dancing, we drank a lot of water and got so hydrated, it was insane. After the amazing party, we watched a movie called Dead Poet’s Society that was good. Now it’s time to go to bed, and I’m a little bit sad because the trip is reaching the end and because I cannot sleep in the mainsail tonight, but I guess I am gonna sleep in the bed that never fails you… the floor. Well, that’s all I have to say in my last skipper’s blog except that this trip is one of the best things I have done in my life.
