Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda
Today was a very fun day filled with fun. We began the day by waking up quite early to move the boat into the Baths. Once we all woke up, we had some oatmeal and gave ourselves some tattoos. We then made use of the dinghy to reach the mainland. Once there, we ran to the jumping rock and explored and climbed around the rocks. Bodin, Mateo, and I soon reached the top of them and sat there, even though I kind of forgot the camera. We went for a hike up to the top of the baths after that, and rendezvoused with our boats to take freshwater showers. After the freshwater showers, we sailed over to Spanishtown to spend some time shopping and eating lunch. Some people got dive gear, while others got snacks and balls. Afterward, we sailed to Mountain Point to snorkel and prep for the night dive. For dinner, we enjoyed a delicious beef stroganoff, and then it was time for the dive. It was an unforgettable experience—we saw a cool crab and some octopuses, but there were also a lot of jellyfish. I got stung on my back, Bodin took one to the head, and Emily got one on her lips. Luckily, we all recovered quickly and wrapped up the night with some warm brookies. What a day.
