Location: English Harbor, Antigua

The day started late as we got to sleep in because of the long overnight passage. Margaux woke up earlier to go to customs to check everyone into Antigua. Upon waking up, we finally got a look at the anchorage, which had a fantastic view of the mountains that we were going to hike later on the day. Once everyone got up, we ate some bagels and yogurt for breakfast, along with some boat clean-up and preparing our laundry to be sent out later today. After, we took a short motor to the historic town of English Harbor. We took a short guided tour that took us around Main Street. We visited nelsons boat yard, a historic bakery, and much more. Then we stopped at a grocery store to get some snacks, cold drinks, and some souvenirs. After that, we had some time to walk around the harbor and explore. While we students were exploring English Harbor, the staff worked hard to get the boats onto the docks where we will be for the next two nights. Once shore time was done, we went back to the boats to have some sail chats, today was about safety equipment on boats. Then Meow and our boat met up, and we went on a fun hike that took us to the highest point on Antiqua to enjoy the natural beauty of the Caribbean. Once we got back we had the opportunity to take a freshwater shower as we have access to water on these docks. Dinner tonight was Summer time Thanksgiving. It was super good. We spent the rest of the night hanging out with Meow.
