Location: The Bight, Norman Island

At the beginning of the day, everyone was slow to wake up, taking their time to enjoy a few extra moments of sleep. Breakfast was delicious, leading, ironically, pretty quickly into shore time at Road Town. Everyone had a fun time in the Island’s capital city, happy to see how it has regrown since hurricane Irma. All of the shipmates enjoyed lunch, and were very satisfied with the delicious food and beverages. Afterwards, everyone put on tribal-like face paint and prepared for “war” or a race from Road Town to The Bight, Norman Island. As our name suggests, we were slow and got a hard last place, but everyone went up to the power tower and had time to handle the boat, making it, overall, a very satisfying day in ‘slow motion’.
