Location: Marina Cay

After another wake-up to our Disney songs, we adventured on an early morning dive. At The Wall, Great Harbour Peter Island, we completed our second Digital Underwater Photography dive, where we played with camera settings such as White Balance and ISO. Some buddy teams saw Caribbean Spiny Lobsters, and others, including myself, had fun taking photos of each other. We all took great pictures of reef life and are now certified! We then participated in a boat cleanup prior to docking at Road Town. We had lunch on shore while the staff restored freshwater on the boat and got our oven working again. We all enjoyed our salads, steaks, pasta alfredo, quesadillas, and burgers. When we returned to the boat, we dove into the Backpack Lab! Sam talked us through the applications of measuring factors such as dissolved oxygen, pH, temperature, and salinity. In groups or as individuals, we recorded our measurement of these factors and compared them to standard values. Most of the measurements aligned with these known values, and we discussed the ones that did not and why this may be. We then set off for another sail, and with our newly installed playlist, we had fun singing and dancing along the way. Dinner was pasta, tomato sauce, and garlic bread. After the squeeze, we watched a couple of educational videos and played some games! Goodnight, Yo Dawg!
