Location: Ile Fourche

Today we woke up in St. Barts and started our day with shore time. I went and got breakfast with Mason and Brenan from our sister ship, Shape Up. After that, we met up with Alex and Johnathan and went to the grocery store. We got back to the boat at 12:30 and relaxed while we waited for Nick to get back from customs. Once he got back, we set sail for an island called Ile Fourchue, which was only supposed to take 45 minutes, but Nick had different plans. Nick told us we were doing sail training, which made our sail around 4 hours. Nick, Benzi, and Missie taught us how to maneuver the boat in different ways and reviewed with us the points of sail. Once we got to our destination, we moored using our dingy, because we “misplaced” our boat hook. After we were all set, Miranda and Violet, our chefs, made food for Mexican night while Johnathan, Audrey, Ana, Sophie, Alex, and I talked on the bow. Mexican night was really good, and we finished our day with a sail chat.
