Blog day 10
Today we dived in open waters for the first time at a depth of 25 feet. I woke up at 5 in the morning to witness the sunrise and was heavily disappointed at the lack of sunrise that I witnessed bc of the marine layer. It was a ton of fun, and we all had a blast. After the open waters dive, my diving group consisting of Jack, Bear, and I, had to go back to confined waters to practice some more skills that we had to learn to get certified. After finishing 2-3 more dives depending on the diving group, we will all be PADI certified, which is pretty exciting. After that, we had soup for lunch and chilled on the boat until dinner at 6. We had a Thanksgiving meal tonight, which consisted of stuffing, turkey, green bean casserole, and mashed potatoes. Tony attempted to dive off of the top deck to catch a bird similar to Larry, which we also saw today. He failed, and on the way back to the boat, I flung stuffing at him with perfect accuracy. Tony, not enjoying his after-dinner snack, decided to fling me off the boat and into the water. Tonight we will hopefully be watching a movie. The crowd wants to watch Cars 2, so we can cheer for Finn McMissile for our crew ate named Finn. We believe that Tony will force us to watch Surf’s Up. We have to complete our final handwritten test for our PADI certification before the movie. I am writing this drenched in water as I just got out of the water from Tony’s throw. It’s been a good day.

Sincerely your favorite soggy boy,
