Holy cow, what a day. Even though it wasn’t today, it’s worth mentioning that late last night, we were treated to a spectacular fireworks show for Elton John’s birthday. Apparently, he has a house here at Savanna Bay, and we were at the right place at the right time. Anyways, today was a rotation day, which means that most of AQ were treated to a luxurious day of learning to dive, wakeboard/ski, windsurf; however, we Divemasters learned what it’s like on the other side of the program. As the Divemaster candidates, we got to assist dive instructors in taking shipmates on their first dive!! It was insanely awesome. We also worked on a plethora of Divemaster skills. After a long day, our chefs of the day baked us brownookies (brownies and cookies together) — perfection in a pan.
