Location: Leverick Bay
Today started off as a normal rotation day. In the morning, after I moved from my spot on the top of the boat with Natalie and Bryton, I woke up very uncomfortably twisted in my sheet on the couch next to the breakfast table to the sound of blasting party music. Clark and Ollie were sleeping in hammocks above the table. After Reed set up the table, we had an entertaining breakfast full of swatting flies. The people on dishy pit, including Bryan, Noah, and Skyler, had to wash dead fly carcasses out of my cereal bowl. For the first part of our rotation, we went snorkeling and saw so many moon jellies, and Ellie was a pro at avoiding them. We also saw a sea turtle! We then went kneeboarding and skiing, and Anika was very good at skiing for her second time ever. For the third rotation, we went zesting and paddle boarding, and when Bryton and I couldn’t paddle any harder towards shore, Skyler and Graham attempted towing us, but I ended up swimming the rest of the way, which took much time and energy. For lunch, we had ramen, and then we had dive chat for the millionth time and reviewed the RDP chart. We then had ocean showers next to Barry(daddy dishy pit depending on your opinion,) which was absolutely terrifying to get ready for the night. We went to a grocery store to buy provisions (candy) for the boat, and then headed to the barbecue spot. We let down the anchor and then got our phones for about 20 minutes to reconnect with our loved ones (hi, mother dearest) and then took a dinghy to dinner. We had a really fun night of eating burgers and pulled pork and then dancing with glow sticks on the dance floor. Much love to all the people reading this,
(Juany)
