This morning, we got to sleep in until 8:00, and before most of us who sleep inside got out of bed, we got right into a one-and-a-half-hour-long VHF sail chat with Matty P. Once we finished, we got ready for the day and had shore time in St Barths. Tati, Drake, Jackson, Juni, JJ, and I went to a cafe and got breakfast, and then walked around and did some shopping. Mia and Im Im went to a grocery store and got lots of snacks and baguettes to prepare for our passage later in the day, and Walker and Evan had lunch together. We got back to the boat around 1:30 and then got ready to sail back to the BVI’s. We formed our new watch team groups, which were chosen by ChatGPT. Then, JJ, Evan, and Juni, who were in the first group, started our sail from 3 pm to 6 pm. Jackson and I talked to Matty P and Sela for a while and enjoyed the calm without music for a few hours. At 6, the next watch team of Drake, Im Im, and I started, and Drake started on the helm. We had a good dinner of tortellini and garlic bread cooked by Jackson and Im Im, and then most people went downstairs to sleep in the air conditioning before their shifts. At 9 pm, the final watch team of Tati, Mia, Walker, and Jackson started, and they each sailed for 45 minutes. For the rest of the night, everyone who was not on watch slept for 6 hours before their shifts, and we continued to sail back to the bvis.
