Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda
This morning we all woke up at 7:30 and ate wonderful bagels with the rest of our Nutella. Today was an amazing rotation day! We started with zesting, and Annika put up the sails of all the boats; the sails on them are so high that it was very challenging, but she’s an expert and made it look easy. The first people getting zesty were August and Jerry and they’re really getting the hang of it, then Madi and Sadie went on the boat but they only stayed a few minutes. When everyone was done with the zests, the Toms and August went paddleboarding together, it was just like a movie scene. They were so cute. Afterwards it was hike time, and when I wanted to go on the dingy Aiden threw a banana and I got hit instead of Annika, so she gave me an old banana and i shoved it in his face. We walked and Thom and Jerry went bare foot on the trail, it was very pretty and we saw lots of hermit crabs. After lunch, which was delicious grilled cheese sandwiches, we all chilled on the boat, and Lucy took the longest nap ever. Then it was time for waterski, and Emma, Clemmie, Lexi, and Zoe went on the boat with Annika and had so much fun with the music blasting amazing music. Annika started going crazy, doing short turns and so many donuts. After them, it was Jerry’s turn, but his position was a bit exotic. It was finally time to dive! We had a blast, and Anzie was in her element and made us feel like pros in scuba diving (staff note: we finished all of our confined water skills today!). My group and I saw a sting ray, and it was so cool. When we went back on the boat, Ruby cooked us a 5-star meal. It was Mexican night🕺 The food was amazing, and now we are all gonna have a good night of sleep, and tomorrow’s gonna be amazing.
