Location: West End, Tortola

We started the day on a mooring ball at The Bite, waking up to God Save the King because Kyler, one of our staff, is British, and it’s the 4th of July. After a quick breakfast of oatmeal and cereal, we headed off to the Indians for our very last dive of the trip. It was a beautiful spot, with vibrant reefs and diverse wildlife. Dillon saw a huge sea urchin, while Sloane and I saw a juvenile lobster. As soon as the dive was done, we started off towards West End. While on the way there, we were divided into clean-up groups for boat appreciation. Some of the jobs were cleaning, like Arthur and Maddie scrubbing the deck, while others organized, like Maya did with the scuba gear. After a few hours of hard work, we got cleared as a clean boat and were able to go on shore for lunch. Kennedy and Ellory ate with me at a restaurant called Pussers, which was delicious. At around 4 pm, we all came back to shower and clean up for the final barbecue. Addy braided her hair while Gabe played with marbles. We did our final squeeze as a boat on the tramp, and then cut up our action quest flag so we could all have a piece. Then, we all headed towards the barbecue at Omar’s. Zoe and Ellis took a lot of cool photos. After the BBQ, we ended the day with a bittersweet talk from Mike. How time has flown.
