Location: Sandy Spit, Green Cay
The day started off with waking up, which is kinda a funny story, which I will quickly say. So to preface, we had a BBQ yesterday so we went to sleep super tired so last night, while waiting for the bathroom me Augustine and sat on the bed still in our BBQ clothes, might I add and while waiting, we fell asleep in our clothes and on top of all of our stuff, but other than that, today was super fun. After we woke up and got dressed, we went out for breakfast, which was French toast made by Matilda and Robby. I ate a little bit later, but it was very good. We did cleanup, and the guys, Dylan, Wyatt, and Elliot, did dishy pit while I, Matilda, Augie, and Connor did freshy and gopher-ed. After cleanup we left the docks and headed out to sail, everyone got a chance to sail and man the helm including me. We all participated, and it was really fun. After sailing for a while we had lunch which was chicken salad wraps they were mid but it’s okay cause they also had celery and i ate that with ranch and that was very good. After lunch, I had a sail chat with Mia and Matilda, and we prepped for my sail test, which I have in a couple of days. I also reviewed my dive test, which I took like 3-4 days ago, and I did that with Grace, and it was good, and I feel like I understood the few I missed 😎. And finally, I had a knot review and test with Joey today, and it went very, very well. We reviewed for like 5 minutes, and then I took the test and passed! So, yes, there was a lot of learning and reviewing today. But after that, we took the dinghy and went to this beautiful island that was surrounded by rocks and had a big, beautiful beach on the front. Not everyone went to the beach; it was me, Augustine, Matilda, Dylan, Robby, and Wyatt. While we were at the beach, we swam, and Augustine and I buried Dylan, Robby, and Wyatt in the sand up to their necks. It was funny. Justin and Elliot went diving. Anywho, after that, we came back to the boat and swam for a while and did ocean showers. Then we all changed and got ready for dinner, and we had this really good mixture of rice and beans and stuff, and had cornbread and salad. Not everyone enjoyed dinner, but I did. Anyway, we cleaned up dinner, and now we are about to do the forum while the counselors have a staff meeting in the salon. Anyway that was the day, mom I know your reading this so i want to tell you i love you and miss you also I’m exited for Orlando!! And as soon as I get out of here, can we please get Chick-fil-A? It’s been so fricking long anyway, that’s all, love you💗
