Hey guys! My name is Grayson, and I am today’s skipper! Today was a very fun day. We first woke up at 7:00 am. We then had some cereal for breakfast, it was delicious. After that, we got changed, raised the anchors, and headed to the helm for some sail training!!! Emily, Stella, Bailey, and Max were the first people who went on the helm. They learned how to tack, gybe, and adjust their sails when at a broad reach, a beam reach, or a close haul. Then, after a few hours of that, Teddy, Sasha, Aaron, and Bella swapped onto the helm to do some sail training also. They then sailed us to cockroach island for some lunch! Max and Amelia then cooked us some AMAZING mac and cheese. We then went for a good swim in the warm water. After that, we raised the anchors and again switched off the sail trannies with Aleda, Amelia, Paige, and me. We raised the sails and then practiced gybing. We then anchored at Marina Cay for some cleanup and some dinner. The chefs made us some tortellini with some red sauce and a salad for dinner. Mike joined us for dinner, and he read us this letter he had made for us. The letter was very interesting and inspiring. We then cleaned up and got ready to choose whether we would do the tape, which is an inspirational audio that we can listen to, or we would do the forum. And that was our day.
