Location: Great Harbor, Peter Island
This morning, we woke up to a quick breakfast made by Jackson and Hugo before leaving Leverick Bay. As soon as we got to the dive site, Lilah, Hugo, and Jackson got a briefing on underwater photography while the Neptunes got ready for their first deep dive. The Neptunes went out on the dinghy, and the swells were huge, so it was really fun but challenging. During the dive, the Neptunes descended to 85 feet, and Charlotte, Ella, and Casey saw four stingrays that were so cutely buried in the sand. When we finally reached the deepest point of the dive, we cracked an egg, and because of the pressure, the yolk didn’t pop! Morgan and Andrée played with it and even practiced their basketball skills. After that, we all ascended to the surface to the chatter of the dolphin students talking about the black-tip reef shark that Lilah had photographed. After our dive, we had delicious sandwiches and set off to Ghp. When we got there, we decided to raft with Pure Joy III and made an awesome rope swing that we all had fun backflipping off of, especially Kieran from Pure Joy. Charlotte and Alex had to jump way out and catch it like Tarzan. Unfortunately, Alex got cut when he landed on a fish while jumping. Later, Lilah, Hugo, and Jackson (dolphins) dissected dogfish, and the smell was crazy, but some of the Neptune were jealous. After that, we had a super chill afternoon and evening filled with a beautiful sunset and lots of seagulls.
