Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda
Today was day 9. We started out our day at 7:30 am, and we ate a breakfast of bagels and yogurt. Then we started to get ready for tagging turtles which was at 9:30 am. Juliet, Sadie, and Maddie did some cool flips into the water to cool off from the heat, and Henry and Jack hung out on the paddle boards. We then split into two groups and got ready for snorkeling. It was supposed to be turtle tagging, and some were spotted, but none were caught (sad face emoji). George found a nurse shark and some jellyfish, while the other group encountered an octopus! When we got back to the boat, Henry and Towns prepared a delicious grilled cheese lunch!!!!!!!!! After lunch, Jack napped with the girls while the rest of us played in the ocean for about an hour. Bodin did his first back flip off the boat while Aidan and Zoe completed the swim test just for funsies that all students are required to do at the beginning of the trip (5 laps around the boat and then tried water for 10 minutes). We then split for water sports. Juliet, Sadie, Henry, and Jack shredded on the wakeboards, and Bodin and Maddie tagged along later and got big air on the kneecaps while George continued his attempts to get up on the wakeboard where he did once!!!! Sloane and Juliette, with some help from Aidan, helped prepare a divine dinner for our guests to share with us! Natalia and Stella kept the guests entertained as well! All in all, it was another great day on Glad 2 B Here!!!!!! See you tomorrow for day 10!!!
