Hey squad, It’s me, Carla. Today, we woke up to another beautiful day in the BVI’s. To start off this morning, we had some very yummy cereal with fresh fruit. Then we got picked up in the dinghy to go water skiing. During water skiing, Kai took two attempts to get up, but then he glided across the water gracefully on a slalom ski. Landon then got stung by jellyfish, but he still managed to swim amazingly. On the beach, Amelia and I made a sandcastle. During this, Alex and Christina’s knee-boarded. They both displayed their talents. Later, we ventured back to our boat and had a lesson about diving and pressure groups. We took a test and got one step closer to our scuba certification. Chase, Landon, and Charles were very helpful and helped us study. We went back and sailed on little boats called zests, and Drake and Juni flipped everyone’s sails over. After that, we were all very happy for lunch, and Garett had scrumptious Mac and cheese waiting for us. We scarfed it down and then had an educational chat about coral reef preservation. After our talk, we started our sail to Leverick to have our barbecue/party on shore. This party lasted for about 4 hours, and we all had the time of our lives. Kai and I were the life of the party and danced the night away. Landon was insanely flexible and good at limbo. The party was so much fun, and we ended the day off back at Odyssey, snacking and talking.
