Location: Vixen Point, Gorda Sound
Hi guy, it’s Amelia. Today, everyone was woken up by the lull of waves that tippled and toppled the boat during the early morning sail to the Olympics. Before the Olympic Games started we had a yummy breakfast that consisted of pancakes. At breakfast, I got the biggest pancake, and Kai used half of the Nutella jar on one pancake. When we arrived at the island for the Olympics, we had to swim from the dinghy to shore, causing Landon to struggle. The Olympics consisted of 3 games: balancing on a floaty, the three-legged race, and tug of war. The first game was Tug of War. Our boat won the first round even after Eli and Juni fell. The goal of the next game was to outlast the other four competitors from other boats while balancing on a floaty. There were three rounds. In the first round, Drake easily outlasted the other four competitors, unlike Charles, who quickly fell. The final game was a three-legged sack race where Carla and I struggled quickly, falling into the water while Alex and Christina laughed—on the sidelines. After the Olympics ended, we promptly returned to the boat, going on another sail to Virgin Gorda. During this sail, Luke and Chase were able to sleep through the music blasting from the power tower. When we arrived to the Virgin Gorda we had veggie burgers made by chase and juni for dinner before our final activity of the day a dive chat lead by Tyler. After that, we all went to sleep and hoped for a night without rain.
