Location: Vixen Point, Gorda Sound
What’s up, everyone? It’s Henry, the skipper for today. We were woken up early at 7:30 and ate French toast prepared by Riley and Kellen, which was amazing. We did a navigational dive without dive instructors, where we worked on identifying different types of plants, invertebrates, and vertebrates. My dive partner was Charly, and some highlights of our dive were the spotting of a barracuda and a stingray. We then made the sail to Leverick Bay to prepare for shore time. Today was phone day, so everyone was excited to call home and chat with friends. Everyone said hi to Aubrie’s group chat and all of the girls filmed TikTok’s on the bow of the boat. Hanna and Lily did some especially interesting dances for most of the phone time. Once everyone had spoken to people back home, we went onto land and ate lunch in Leverick Bay. The whole boat went to the beach near the bay and swam around. Cahan and Matt wrestled on the beach. After coming back from the beach, everyone showered and got ready for our first barbecue. We all took pics for the blog and Instagram around the boat and then headed over to Leverick for the BBQ. We met up with all the other boats and ate some tasty food. After eating, we all got lit on the dance floor with DJ heavy beats. We took the dinghy back to Pure Joy and are all chillin before bed now.
