What’s good, gang? Today, I woke up for the highly professional skipper meeting to discuss the details of the race. During the meeting, we discussed the rules of our first race, and then I came back home and prepared my ship to set sail. We set sail with the amazing help of the line team that consisted of Brig, Alyssa, and Tucker. The destination of the race was West End Town, where we first started our journey. We had an amazing lunch there, and I had a jerk chicken pizza with buffalo wings. They were the best wings I have ever had. After having some free time, I went to the second skipper meeting to learn about the longer, more important race in which we would have to tack back and forth to Great Harbor Peter. Jordan, Freddy, and Greta helmed gracefully. Ella, Rachel, and Claire looked after our dinghy, sumo. Catherine was very supportive with the anchor and assisting with the race . Molly worked hard, bringing up the sail by managing the winch. We had a dance party with the other boats and got hyped in hopes of winning the race. When we finished the race, Rachel and Alyssa cooked breakfast for dinner, which we all enjoyed. After dinner, we had an amazing last sail chat led by Arden.
