Location: Muskmelon Bay, Guana Island

Today, we woke up and thought Maggie went missing. Fortunately, she just woke up early to watch the beautiful sunrise! The people who really went missing were the counselors, who went to an early morning meeting with Mike. While they were at their meeting, Armaan and Leo did a great job of making pancakes for the boat. We also had Nutella with them, which was the best part, in my opinion. After doing breakfast, dishy pit, deckying, and gophering, we got ready to go to town. As we sailed over to Trellis, we made friendship bracelets and did some reading. It was the perfect day to be on shore as the sun was out, and it was a little breezy. We walked over and had lunch at an outdoor restaurant where everyone had a delicious meal. Then, we went to an incredible art store, where Schuyler got a shirt a little too big, and Maddie and her sister got a gift for their mom(I’m not going to say what it is, but it’s really pretty, so get ready, Emma!). Declan and Frosty went to socialize with other boats while Maren, Emma, and Schuyler went to explore the other parts of Trellis. Maddie, Armaan, Maggie, Leo, and I went back to the restaurant to order VIRGIN PiƱa Coladas, which hit the spot! It was nearing 2:00, so we all gathered back on the dock, got in a dinghy, and went back to our boat. We all put on our PFDs as fast as possible and got ready for an afternoon of sail training. Schuyler started on the helm and steered us to the wind as we put the sails up. Everything was going smoothly until we lost Cirrus(one of our dinghies). We went on an emergency rescue mission and were able to sail back and pick it up, but the counselors took the helm for the last bit of our adventure. As we arrived in Muskmelon and took off our PFDs, we realized all of our utensils had suddenly disappeared. We hailed every boat until we finally realized it was Avizia who took them, and thankfully returned them soon after. We showered and then ate a great dinner of red curry, chicken, and rice!
