Location: Vixen Point, Gorda Sound
Hi, it’s Katie, who everyone knows as the goofy one on the boat. Today we had such a nice and chill day. We started off by waking up at 7 am per usual. We had oatmeal and cereals, and after that, we went snorkeling for this the first time, and jeez lousy, we all had a fire time #fun. Ry wanted to show off and do spins in the water. After that activity, we went back to our boat, and half of the kids went wakeboarding and water skiing. Anna Fay was hitting tricks on the water while Lucy, Grace, Emma, Claire, and I, of course, was tanning on the back. For lunch, we ate craft Mac n cheese #yummy. Out of nowhere, these big waves came crashing into the boats, and while Emma and I were cheffing it up, the uncooked mac n cheese went flying!! Elsewhere in the anchorage, Ry smacked the lip of those crazy waves like woopah. Then he ate it. we saw a Heffa ass beracoda. Charley was very scared and jumped into the counselor Emma’s arms. (There’s no proof, but it did happen). After lunch, everyone, including Grace, passed one of the scuba tests we had to take. My personal favorite part of the day was at the end when we took showers, then went onto the islands to get groceries, and got ready for our first big bbq with all of the action quest boats. It was so much fun socializing with other people that weren’t on our boats. In my opinion, it was a pretty crazy lit function, but ofc it was a PG one besides the people who tried to sneak away 🤭. Anyways today was my favorite day, and I’m grateful I got to do today’s blog peace out.
