Location: Savanna Bay, Virgin Gorda

Hello, I’m Jacob, and I’m the skipper. We did many fun activities today. We started off the day by eating a whole pot of scrambled eggs. It was really funny when Noah dropped his whole bowl of eggs on the floor. After we finished our breakfast, we all went in dinghies to go wakeboarding, kneeboarding, and waterskiing. Caitlin, Giles, Jacob, and Arhan tried wakeboarding. Lily and Cameron tried waterskiing. Conrad tried kneeboarding. After that, we all rotated to another boat and went scuba diving. Everyone put together their own gear. Jasper was so excited to go down and learn many skills underwater!

When we came back to our boat from diving, we ate lunch. Today’s lunch was sandwiches. We had the choice between PBandJ or ham and turkey in our sandwiches. Following that, we learned about the different ways to tie knots. There was the cleat knot, which is used to tie the boats to the knots. There was the clove hitch, which ties the fenders to the stations. There was, lastly, the bowline knot which is a very secure knot. Sienna learned to tie all of the knots. After that, we all went to another boat to go zesting. Giles, Alexa, and Adnan really liked zesting and almost capsized. We then went to Savannah Bay and anchored for the night. Dinner was Sloppy Joe’s, which was cooked by Cameron and Lily. Soon after, we did our nightly squeeze, which is something we do every night where everyone says something they appreciate. Lastly, we watched a video about scuba diving and went to sleep.
