Location: Vixen Point, Gorda Sound
We started our day off at 7 am with an oatmeal breakfast. Then we started with some water sports, “zesting,” paddle boarding, and making friends with other boats. We mainly stayed on the catamarans until we all went snorkeling, where we all saw some jellyfish and smaller fish. When we went back to the boats, Jamie, Liv, GG, Sophia, Cooper, and I all sailed the zests until we came back to Mango Tango for some delicious PBJ sandwiches. We set sail for about 40 minutes to Leverick’s Bay, where we did some shopping before going back to the boat and getting our phones for a couple of hours. We all had fun calling our friends and family and seeing what has been going on at home. We got ready for the BBQ in our nightgowns and went back to land. Everyone loved what Jamie calls our nighties, and they were a big hit among all of ActionQuest. We even accidentally twinned with some of the staff! Oliver led our group with his silver button-up, and we talked with some other kids before getting food (our choice of burgers, hotdogs, or pork). On the dance floor, Liv and Lea got into a dance battle (lost due to a biased judge) and did phenomenally. Arthur, Cas, and Addie also all went crazy on the dance floor until we went back to the boat and got ready for bed around 10:30. We all cannot wait for the next beach BBQ!
