Location: Road Harbor, Tortola
This morning, per usual, we awoke to classic rock at full volume. On the bright side, we were allowed to sleep in a whole extra hour. Once we were all up, Caroline and Oscar were our chefs and made delicious pancakes topped with Nutella or syrup. After breakfast, we had to disassemble the raft (the cluster of all of our boats, Friendship, Hope, Secod Wind, and us). We had a nice, slow morning as we sailed to Roadtown and had our last time on land before we leave :(. All of the girls, plus Jack, Chase, and Topher, had lunch together, and Evelyn had a giant waffle covered in chocolate. We also had our phones and were able to talk to our family and friends. Tall Jack was on hope today so he could complete his VHF training with Shona. When we returned to the boat, Lu, Topher, Harrison, Thea, Chase, Lou Lou, and I took much-needed naps. We woke up, and everyone took ocean showers, followed by sunset dinghy rides, which were very bumpy but VERY fun. We ended the day with breakfast for dinner and a squeeze. Overall, a very fun day!!!
