Location: Muskmelon Bay, Guana Island

At 7:30, we awoke to Garry’s interesting music taste and a LOUD “Good morning!” Luke made delicious pancakes while Brendan provided the Nutella for the group. Our counselors went out for a staff meeting in the morning, and when they arrived back home, we serenaded them with ‘Hallelujah’ while worshipping our pineapple gods. Nomada Caribeña was then off on a short boat ride from Marina Cay to Trellis Bay. Excited for our shore trip, everyone grabbed their shoes, wallets, and sunscreen to get on the dinghy to a small, beautiful town. Trellis Bay was filled with a bunch of amazing stores, including Aragorn’s Studio, which ended up making Nomada quite decked out. Violet, Daniel, Matthew, and Scarlett ended up getting brand-new shirts! During their shopping spree, I met two very sweet dogs, a pitbull named Pepsi and her best friend, both of which were having a nice time chilling in the shade. Afterward, we all headed to the Loose Mongoose, where we ordered our food with our close friend boat, Avizia, and waited for a good while before getting our food. Louella had some really awesome wings, and Evan gobbled down his chicken tenders. We got to have a beautiful ocean view while we waited, so it wasn’t all that bad. When we decided that lunch was over, we headed over to a nearby market and loaded up on snacks for the boat. Cobrin then drove the dinghy to pick us up, and after on the boat, he drove us to pick up some water. We headed to our final destination of the day, which is Muskmelon Bay. Blake and Brendan made us dinner for a good end to the day.
