Location: Sommer's Beach, Tortola
Hello AQ fams! Today we woke up and got breakfast going while our dive tanks were getting filled. Our dive today was solo, so we went down in our buddy pairs and relied on the navigation skills we learned on day 3. I dove with Camille, Sophia, and Ana, and we swam around for 20 minutes, then took our fins off on the bottom and played around until we surfaced. After the dive, we had lunch. Once we finished lunch + cleanup, Katie and CiCi gave us an equipment lecture, where we went through all the parts of our scuba gear and the tank. After the lecture, we were split into two groups. Beckett, Sophia, Rina, Ellie, Eric, and I were in one group, while Sasha, Owen, Gabe, Camille, and Ana were in another group. We had to blindfold ourselves and fully kit up our tanks one by one as fast as we could. It was so much fun, and the game helped us work on our communication with each other. We were given time to chill and tan, which we just did, and now we are all getting ready for our beach bbq!! Today was such a great day, and I’m looking forward to the remaining days we have together.
