Location: Marina Cay
Buenos dias😘😘!!!! Today we woke up bright and early at 7:AM🥱, ate a delicious cereal breakfast, and slowly got ready for our day. We set sail from mountain point and began our journey to Marina Cay. Emily, Johnluca, and Eli began our rotation for sail circles. We all took turns steering and sheeting, then finally stopped for lunch. We ate some yummy in my tummy pb and j’s, and some of us took a dip in the ocean (even though the jellyfish were out to get us)😯. After lunch, we let up the anchor and began the second half of our sail for the day.
Emily, Carson, Nat, and I took some fat naps 😴while Greyson, Jackson, and Luke helped sail. We made a fuel stop and went on land to cop some nice snacks🥤. Drake got a yummy matcha boba drink that everyone wanted a piece of🧋, and Juni got some yummy horchata that apparently tasted like Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal milk (I wouldn’t know). After our speedy fuel stop, we pulled out of the marina and saw some angry boaters getting a little frustrated because we took too long. Not our fault we had to stock up! After a very short sail, we anchored for the night and extremely reluctantly took ocean showers (the jellyfish were coming for us again). Emily and Drake made some nice tortellini and salad, yummy! While they were making dinner, Piper and Greyson played a heated game of Egyptian rat slap, which apparently Piper won (that’s just what I heard. Don’t take my word for it). We ate our dinner and played out Squeeze for the night. My question was, “What’s one thing you want to do before you die” (good one, right). After that, we heard a speech about a sad recording that was going to listen to later tonight that will supposedly ruin the entire vibe for the night, jk jk. We all miss you lots and can’t wait until the next time we can talk to you!!
