Location: Marina Cay

This morning we woke up to Luke, Johnluca, Drake, Eli, and Jackson making pancakes. People were getting hangry because the pancakes were taking a long time, even with five people helping cook. All the instructors were at a meeting, so people were yelling and getting into arguments. But when they were finally ready, everyone turned silent as they covered the delicious pancakes with Nutella and syrup. After everyone was filled up, we started getting ready to sail to Trellis Bay, where we would have lunch, shop, and hang out with people from other boats for a few hours. Right before we left, Claire and Emily were taking a dinghy to a clinic somewhere to treat some cuts.

Meanwhile, Drake and I pulled up the anchor, and everyone helped put up our sails as we made our way to the very end of Tortola, where the town was. It was right next to the airport, so we could see planes flying in and out. Once Greyson and Jackson attached the boat to the mooring ball so we could park, we gathered our shoes and money and hopped in the dinghy. Garrett dropped us off at the dock, and we all made our way into town. The boys went one way, and Carson and Nat went to find some friends. Piper bought a cool painting at an art shop, and everyone was stocking up on snacks for the boat. After a while of exploring, we all met up for lunch at a sushi restaurant and had delicious food.

There we met up with the kids from Second Wind. When that was all over, and everyone was way too sugared-out, we went back to the boat and unloaded our food into the fridge and pantry. We then started sailing to Muskmelon Bay to spend the night. Everyone chilled for a while around the boat. Then we gathered in the salon to take our RDP (Recreational Dive Planner) exams. We studied together for a while, then took a practice quiz. Right before we could start taking the final test, somehow (we still don’t know), a butter fight broke out, and soon the whole boat was covered in margarine grease! As unexplainable as it was, we all spent the next half hour cleaning it all up. Izzy gathered us back in the salon to take the exam, all of us still distracted by the chaos that just happened. After the exam was over, we all got our tests back, and almost all of us passed. After the long day, we set up our beds and fell asleep.
