Location: Marina Cay
Today was a good day! We started the morning with a breakfast of cereal, so delicious! Then, Tatum sailed us to Great Dog Island, and on the way, we did sail training. Once we arrived, we practiced Turks’ heads and monkeys’ fists’ knots, which turned into bracelets. Some of us were better at this than others… Ellery and William really struggled with this skill, but they tried hard to get it in the end! For lunch, we had a basic but good meal of deli sandwiches! After this, we went to start our first dive of the day on Second Wind, the dive boat. Our first dive was less enjoyable than the second dive because of the many jellyfish in the water. On the second dive, we got to see planes shaped like sharks! It was very cool, and we all got to use our Fish ID skills. We all got back to our boat, where we took showers. Finn started the dinner of tortellini and garlic bread while we started our sail to Trellis, but he had to fend off Tatum, Lulu, Georgina, and Eres from stealing all of the dinners before it was served.
Meanwhile, Teddy, Bear, and Zander were anchoring for 30 minutes, and Ellery and Oscar watched the dinghies for even longer. Payton also did a spectacular job of deckieing. We ended the night with Lifeworks, which was about values that are important to us.
