Location: Muskmelon Bay, Guana Island
We got a late start to the day today as our staff had a morning meeting. We had a massive dance party, and Peyton made literally the best pancakes I’ve ever eaten. After cleaning and deckieing, our staff was back on board right in time for our dinghies to get tangled up in our engines. Kaleigh and Shona got it untangled, but our shore day in Trellis Bay was a bit delayed. After we finally touched dry land for the first time in four days, we all made our way to a small gift shop where many of us purchased t-shirts and then visited a delicious sushi restaurant where we all had lunch together. Tatum and Georgina were very excited after finally being able to buy instant coffee. After getting back on board, we met some of our new friends that had been to the clinic. We sailed with them to Musty Melon Munch Bay before eating dinner and hearing everybody answer our squeeze question, “How would you commit murder?” Eres had a very interesting and weirdly specific answer that created a lot of laughter amongst the shippies and staff.
