Location: St. Eustatius

We started day 7 with a 6 am wake-up call. We spent the first ten minutes of the day getting ready for a morning sail. After we were all ready, we hoisted the sail, headed off, and said goodbye to Saba. Since it was still really early in the morning, most of the crew went back to sleep while Claire, Ari, and I stayed up to enjoy the sail to Statia. The sail to Statia took around 4 hours, and we spent most of the time helming and blasting all different types of music. Once we arrived in Statia, we had our chefs, Mary and Ari, make us mac and cheese for lunch. After we finished our lunch, we got prepared to go on a long hike up a Volcano on the island. It was super pretty; believe it or not, there were land hermit crabs all over the volcano. The view was also amazing from the top! We spent the rest of the afternoon enjoying the view from the top of the mountain. We eventually came back to Meowy to enjoy a nice evening ocean shower. After the showers, Ethan, Ale, and I made a big dinner for the crew, and we ended the night with a great squeeze and sail chat.
