Location: Great Harbor, Peter Island
Today was our practice race day! I (Eliza) went to a skipper meeting at another boat to talk about the race and pick a number out of a hat of where our boat is in the starting lineup. We had our two drivers, Reese Rut and Charles, who drove us to the finish line! We had Enya, Libby, and Reese Roth put up the main sheet. Georgia and Reid gave us an awesome start by putting off the jib super fast. Max and Brij were tailors and also helped put up the main. Sophie and Dalila were our spotters so they helped check if anything was caught as we put up our sails. We danced and sang fun songs and had a great time sailing! We came cruising in at second place and went on a mooring ball after our celebration. We went on ashore to where we started on Soper’s hole. Everyone had an awesome lunch and shopped and got some cool T-shirts and more snacks. We then sailed for 3 hours to Great Harbour Peter Island and anchored for the night. We went swimming and did our ocean showers. Some people were doing flips off the dinghy! Everyone then dried and sat down for dinner, Mexican night! Now we are doing a cleanup, and some people are crushing their sailing knot test. Tonight we have a sail chat and then off to bed!! Goodbye see you tomorrow 👋 ✌️ ❤️ 🏖️ ⛵️ 🚤 🥈
