Location: Vixen Point, Gorda Sound
Today, everyone woke up to bowls breaking and water bottles flying around the room. We were hit by a very big set of waves, and I woke up by being thrown off the bed that Michelle, Leila, and I were sharing and into the cabinets in the kitchen. Scary 😬. It was a rotation day, so half the group went scuba diving and saw some pretty fish. My half of the group did some very fun paddleboarding with some of the other boats! We then went on to doing RDP, which was very, very boring 🥱. Whilst the advanced divers were diving 🤷♀️, the rest of us went snorkeling and saw some cute crabs and 🪸🐟 . Then, before lunch, we played a game where we tried to run across a line of paddle boards without falling, and Lucy and Jack made it all the way! When the group that went diving got back to the boat, we were ready for lunch, mac and cheese. After lunch, we hung out with some other boats for a bit, and before dinner, we had a slight tragedy. Leila put swimmer’s ear in her eyes instead of her eyedrops 😢(but now she’s ok). We had veggie burgers for dinner that everyone surprisingly liked. Now half of us are doing dive chat, and the rest are getting ready for the very exciting day we have planned for tomorrow.
