Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda

This morning we woke up at our normal 7 am time. This morning, our chefs Claire and Kellen made a delicious meal of breakfast burritos. Shortly after, Matthew had to be shipped off to the clinic in Spanish Town. He got three stitches without any numbing. Sadly, he cannot go in the water for the next four days. Today, we had rotation day. We started off with paddle boarding, and luckily, it was in our home of Shamalamadingdong (aka Shamwari). Claire, Lyla, and I paddled around the boat while Drew and Stella decided to go to the football fields away from the boat. For our next rotation, we went to Beso Del Viento (the diving boat) to finish our confined diving section. For lunch, we had a delicious pile of grilled cheeses filled with bacon, ham, and turkey.

Shoutout to Anthony for making lunch for us! After our filling meal, we went zesting (Small sailboats). Thomas, Kellen, Lyla, Evan, Kate, Drew, Stella, and Hays all went sailing while Claire and I were in the trailing dingy with Anya and Rylee. The sailors raced to Mike’s boat and back to Avizia, and it resulted in a win for Drew, Stella, and Hays. Rylee made Claire, Lyla, and me ring made with a lashing line while Thomas took a snooze. After, we went skiing. Aidan was driving Thomas, Kellen, Drew, Hays, and Stella. They skied, knee boarded, and wakeboarded. In the other boat driven by Sylvia and Anthony, Lyla, Claire, and Kate, stitched up Matthew, Evan, and I skied but mostly kneeboarded. Lyla was finally able to get up on the kneeboard, but Claire sadly was not able to. Kate and I absolutely shredded and completed a 360 on the kneeboard. While showering, Hays and I did backflips in between scrubs, but Thomas attempted and could not complete the backie. We had a classy meal of risotto with chicken Caesar salad for dinner. We were accompanied by Tyler and Anthony. During pickup, we jammed out to Taylor Swift. To finish our night, we took our final scuba certification exam, and we learned we can crack certain joints repeatedly. Today we listened to Wagon Wheel by Old Crow Medicine Show on repeat 24/7. With the song stuck in our heads, we all will now go to sleep.

PS. Extra pics of the boat Olympics included!
