The Last Day

Location: West End, Tortola

After waking up to our last morning anchored at sea, we speedily ate breakfast and jumped in the water for a challenging last dive. With the current pushing our kicks, the reef was rich with life. We put away our gear and began motoring to West End for our final destination. We partook in boat appreciation which consisted of deep cleaning our entire boat. Once we finished, we went on land for lunch and had bucket showers. We had a heartfelt last “squeeze” and spent time with each other, our newfound family. To end the day, we had our final barbecue and then a talk with Mike, where he read us a Doctor Suesse book. The night was bittersweet, but a good ending to an amazing three weeks.
