Location: Muskmelon Bay, Guana Island
Today started out earlier than usual, having to get up at 6:20am. We had pancakes, which were topped with nutella and syrup, which was delicious. We then started our first sailing test, the practical. Basically we had to sail our boat only with the knowledge we had of sailing, not of the staff. The staff onboard would not help at all. So for about four hours we sailed from one bay to another. Since I was the skipper I had to drive the boat and tell everyone what to do. Although after two hours of steering I gave over the helm to another shipmate. The weather was fantastic and it was such a pretty day. When we anchored in Muskmelon Bay around 2:30ish. We had already eaten lunch and got to relax and swim in the water. We also got to clean the dinghies. Today we are also getting our laundry back and new linens. For dinner we are prepping chilli and rice, which is very good. All together today was a great day and I can’t wait for tomorrow.
