Location: Savanna Bay, Virgin Gorda

Today was a very straightforward day. We all woke up early as usual, getting ready for how we were going to spend the day by eating oatmeal and pineapple first thing for breakfast. Later on, we all hopped on a dinghy boat headed to a great mountain range where we would experience our first hike of the trip. Another ship came along with us for the hike as well, Monarch the GoBeyond boat. When we all made it to the top of the mountain, we were asked something that challenged us in our lives and how we would overcome that struggle.
After the long and treacherous beautiful climb, our ship spent the next six hours learning how to sail and being given lessons on it. It was surprisingly not too bad for the crew’s first time learning how to sail. Afterward, we all arrived where the rest of the boats were without any issues other than our anchor, which Mike came and helped us fix. We then took showers and got ready for dinner, where we all had salad, garlic bread, and chicken Alfredo. The action quest director even got to join in on us for not only just dinner but for the squeeze afterward. The question for the squeeze was, “What’s something you hate that everyone loves and something you love that everyone hates.”
Overall, today was just as good as the day before, and hopefully, it can be just as good for the rest of the entire three weeks at ActionQuest.
