Location: Vixen Point, Gorda Sound
Hello all,
Today was quite eventful. We woke up and went for our first underwater naturalist dive. To receive the specialty we had to look for different types of aquatic life. We received slates filled with information on different vertebrates and invertebrates residing around the Islands. After, we motored around the peninsula to Levricks Bay, where we got our first opportunity to call home, whether it was family or friends. From there, we went on shore, where we stocked up on snacks and drinks of our choice. Later on, we motored back to Vixon Point, where after an interesting knowledge review about boat diving, we spent some time on the beach lounging around with shipmates. Everyone enjoyed the luxury of an extra long shower to prepare for the first of many barbecues, where the whole camp will be present. Everyone will be served burgers and hotdogs. The whole crew is very excited about the event. Everyone is dressing up nicely.
